Fender Stratocaster guitar parts are very interchangable. Their necks can be removed and replaced by removing four screws...very easy. Just like the necks, other parts can be changed out easily also. When browsing around for Fenders always read each ad carefully ask the seller questions, look for serial numbers, and check the seller's feedback (always a must!). And always check on the cosmetic condition of the guitar before bidding or using "buy it now", if it isn't in the ad...contact the seller and ask about it and ask them to post or send pictures.
